Put A Ring On It!

Ok ladies, with it now being 2017, I’ve been contemplating, there comes a day when you sit back and think to yourself ,”I think I’m ready to settle down”!

Take that leap of faith, change your last name, let him put a ring on it!

Now when that day comes, hopefully you will be surprised and overjoyed. But what about the ring? Something that represents the love and affection that you share for each other.

What better way to say “I love you”, then the man of your dreams picking out the ring for you! Would you be ok with what he has chosen or ask to exchange?

In my opinion, If your man can take the time to observe your style, ask your friends or even your mother and purchase something that he feels fits you perfectly, would be perfect to me!

But not everyone agrees! I’ve been told that, you should go ring shopping or browsing so that he has an idea, especially if your going to wear it for the rest of your life.

Something about going into a store and trying on rings would take the surprise out of one of the happiest days of my life.

So for those of you who are married or want to be, what’s your take on it?

It depends on how particular you are. If you have a very specific type of ring you HAVE to have, definitely do some preliminary shopping. If you are open to a wide range if style, shape, and size, welcome the surprise. I would only be careful not to push him beyond the price range of whatever he could afford. Other than that, I think it’s based on each woman’s specification desires. ???? Blessings to you gal.????

I agree. Being a little older, I welcome the surprise! Also, my feelings on marriage these days is envisioning what my grandparents had. When they first got married they didn’t have much. The love they shared was worth much more than the ring.
