For those of you who have struggled with hair. Especially natural hair, it can be just as much work as relaxed/processed hair. Yes, you can have split ends, color damage, dry scalp, heat damage, etc. Just because your hair is in a natural state doesn’t mean that you don’t have to put as much time and effort into taking care of it.
When it comes to “my hair,” I’ve tried just about everything…jerry curl, braids, weaves, pixi cut, finger waves, french curls, pin curls, flat-iron, wigs, coloring, from long relaxed hair to a bob. But the style I’ve managed to keep the longest is locs (I’m at 13 years and counting).
I received some wonderful products from Influencster and Pantene (Pro V Gold Series) complimentary to test.
Onto my thoughts…I can say without a doubt “its a winner”! I’m most excited about the Hydrating Butter-Creme which retails for $7.99. The smell is quite lovely, light yet noticeable and the texture is a creme that melts in your hands when you rub them together. It doesn’t cause any buildup on the scalp and can be mixed with an oil to add that extra moisture.
Seeing as I go to the salon quite often, I gave my friend who has naturally curly hair the Moisture Boost Shampoo and Moisture Boost Conditioner both retailing for $5.99 to try, …..she loves it. The Moisture Boost Shampoo lather’s just enough not to feel as though its stripping the hair while cleansing, moisturizing and nourishing at the same time.
The Moisture Boost Conditioner left her hair soft, not weighing it down, and gave her curl pattern more definition.
If you’re looking for a great hair care product that doesn’t break the bank give Pantene Pro V Gold Series a try. They have been around for years and where else are you going to get a shampoo, conditioner and moisturizer for $20!
