DOING NEW YEARS IN DUBAI

Hello hello hello!!! Happy New Year. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to travel this holiday season. Egypt and Dubai were absolutely wonderful. Filled with wonderful people, cultures, architecture and food. When I say that we turned up for new years that would be an understatement We did the damn thing!

So as we work our way into 2017, I would like to just urge you to live your life to the fullest and love like its going out of style. Hmm where shall I go next. Your going to have to stay tuned.

I’ve been thinking about going but with everything that’s going on in the world, people were telling me to hold off on it. It’s deff high up in my bucket list! What would you say the most difficult things were about Dubai and Egypt?

Don’t let anything stop you. I would only see it being more difficult as time goes on. The world is too beautiful not to explore. I’d say Egypt was a little nerve racking, but not difficult. We were in Cairo and it’s not what it looks like. They are in need. Their pound is I. The lower end, so they were asking for America dollars. Also the fact they are going through a war. There were a few bombings near the pyramid prior to us going. But the people are friendly and their is so much history there. Don’t let anything discourage you!

I love your photos!! This is an especially interesting post to me because I am considering going to Egypt for New Years this year. Definitely makes me a little nervous, but it is on the top of my bucket list. Were there a lot of tourists around this time?

I say do it! I was a little nervous because there was a bombing a few day before I went. But after a few minutes of walking around to see the pyramids I was so excited, nervousness went out the window! No, it was a decent crowd. Not crowded at all! The weather was perfect! We did a cruise on the nile river which was really nice as well, so I would check that out. We were only there for a day (layover). I would certainly go back to spend more time.
